Q2: Where is Tzu Chi University?

• The university is located in Hualien City. Tzu Chi University is divided into three campuses: the Central Campus, the Jieren Campus, and the Jianguo Campus. The Central Campus is situated on Zhongyang Road in Hualien City, adjacent to Tzu Chi Hospital and the Jing Si Hall. It is about a 5-minute drive from Hualien Railway Station and about a 10-minute drive from Hualien Airport. The Jianguo Campus and the Jieren Campus are located next to each other, connected internally by campus roads, and are about a 10–15 minute drive from Hualien Railway Station. Free shuttle buses are provided between the three campuses for faculty and students.
• The Main Campus: It is on Zhongyang Road in Hualien City, near Tzu Chi Hospital and Jing Si Hall. The University building is a prominent landmark. The Main Campus is five minutes from Hualien Railway Station or ten minutes from Hualien Airport by car.

• The Jieren Campus: The campus is on Jieren Street in Hualien City, and has a peaceful environment. The campus is about fifteen minutes from Hualien Railway Station by car. 
• The Jianguo Campus:

Located on Jianguo Road in Hualien City. After exiting the front exit of the train station, turn right and walk straight along Guolian 1st Road toward Zhongshan Road. Upon reaching Zhongshan Road, turn right and pass through the underpass. At the intersection with Section 4, Zhongyang Road, turn left. Pass by Tzu Chi Hospital, Jing Si Hall, and the Central Campus of Tzu Chi University. A5：First-year students are unfamiliar with Hualien City and its traffic conditions, so it is better for them to just buy bicycles. From the second semester, when they are more familiar with the environment, they may decide whether to buy motor scooters or not.

A7：Yes, and each student is guaranteed a school housing unit. Each standard suite is 391 square feet with A/C and accommodates four students.
There are currently 7 student dormitory buildings: 2 in the Central Campus, 2 in the Jieren Campus, and 3 in the Jianguo Campus, providing a total of over 5,500 beds. Each dorm room accommodates 4 students and is equipped with air conditioning, electric fans, internet access, desks, and wardrobes. Common areas include study rooms and lounges, while shared facilities include televisions, refrigerators, coin-operated washing machines, spin dryers, and vending machines. Dormitory administrators work in a 24-hour, three-shift rotation system, supported by student dormitory self-governance members and reasonable residential regulations, to help residents develop good living habits, learning attitudes, and a sense of independence and self-discipline.

• Regarding the housing fee, you may access the tuition & fees website provided by the Accounting Office. Currently, it is NT$8,200 per semester. Each suite accommodates four students.
• The common area of each floor has a self-study space, quilt drying area, and laundry room. Moreover, a clothes drying area, public bathroom, activity center, and kitchen are also available.
• Each suite has air-conditioning, a bathroom, and a ceiling fan.
• Each student has a desk, bookshelf, wardrobe, single bed, armchair, fluorescent lamp, and HUB (computer network).
• Students living in the school housing can buy the things they need at numerous stores near the campuses, which are about eight to twelve minutes walking distance away.

Many students feel rewarded for attending the career consultation. One said: "I was a bit confused at first, but through chatting with a counselor, I have more understanding about my career choices.
